El próximo día 18 de Febrero se celebra la gala de entrega de premios de la sexagésimo segunda edición de los Blue Ribbon Awards, organizados por diversos medios especializados y críticos en la región de Tokio y que se celebran desde finales la década de 1950, aunque ya se conocen los ganadores en las diferentes categorías. La comedia local Fly Me to the Saitama sigue muy presente en la temporada, recordemos que es la película más nominada de los premios de la Academia japonesa de Cine, llevándose en esta ocasión el galardón a mejor película. El resto de premios han estado muy repartidos, Tetsuya Mariko se lleva mejor director por el drama romántico From Miyamoto to You y repite Nagisa Sekimizu como actriz revelación por su papel en Almost a Miracle, que ya ganó el mismo premio en los Mainichi Film Awards.
