Ayer mismo se fallaron los Daejong Film Awards, uno de los grandes premios del cine coreano auspiciados por el Ministerio de Cultura, aunque con polémica constante por el método de concesión que hace que algunas grandes estrellas realicen su particular boicot a los mismos. Como en ediciones pasadas los Grand Bell Awards, como se les conoce coloquialmente, han estado bastante repartidos, llevándose el premio a mejor película la excepcional Burning de Lee Chang-dong y el premio a mejor dirección Jang Joon-hwan por el drama histórico 1987: When the Day Comes. En cuanto a interpretaciones el premio ha mejor actor ha sido doble para Lee Sung-min y Hwang Jung-min por su presencia en The Spy Gone North -ellos dos solo mantienen casi toda la película de una forma magistral-, mientras que le premio a mejor actriz ha ido a parar a Na Moon-hee por I Can Speak. Cabe destacar el premio a mejor actor de reparto para el tristemente desaparecido Kim Joo-hyuk, que también se llevó el premio especial del jurado, por su papelazo en Believer. El apartado técnico también estuvo repartido, si bien la épica The Frotress acaparó un buen puñado de galardones en estas categorías. A continuación tenéis la lista completa de premiados.
